Fort Worth City Council Meeting
The Fort Worth City Council meets each Tuesday. The first and second Tuesday of each month the City Council meets in the evening, 7:00 p.m. The rest of the month's Tuesday meetings are held at 10:00 a.m.

Dallas Cothrum
Relocation of Bush Family: Assisted the former president gain city approval for a private street
and security gate. Assisted with permitting for various necessary structures.
Parkdale Static Var Compensator: Served as land use project manager for the largest SVC project
in the world. The addition of the SVC will compensate for the loss of electrical generation in the urban area.
Obtained various land use approvals and building code waivers from the City of Dallas to ensure timely start to
the project. Likewise, coordinated the efforts of a variety of professional consultants located across the country.
Lemmon Substation and Mixed Use Project: Obtained zoning, site plan, and platting approval from the City of
Dallas for an electrical substation located in one of the most densely populated areas of the state. Later, entitlements
were garnered to allow for multi-family and retail on an adjacent property.
Barnett Shale: Cothrum has worked on drilling, pipeline and compression facilities throughout the region.
He recently obtained approval for the largest compression facility in the City of Arlington. He also secured appropriate
entitlements for the first gas wells in the cities of Dallas and Irving. Additionally, he has worked on a pipeline
project that will help alleviate existing capacity problems in the area. He has secured licenses, crossings, and other
entitlements to allow for a new pipeline to be located in a densely populated urban setting.
Hunt Consolidated Headquarters and Rosewood Headquarters: Masterplan provided successful representation for
two signature downtown buildings. These projects have redefined a skyline that had not seen new construction of this
scale since the 1980s.
Cellular Communications: Since the inception of wireless communication, the firm has represented five different
companies in obtaining zoning and entitlement approvals for their networks. The firm worked throughout Texas and
Louisiana to provide reliable service from the 1980s to the present. The firm helped a number of small cities in creating
a cellular ordinance.
Love Field/Wright Amendment: Represented a variety of transportation oriented clients, including airlines,
taxis, and shuttle services at the City of Dallas facility. Participated in obtaining city approvals on a range of
issues from ticket counter locations to access fees for the airport. Masterplan also participated as a consultant on
the changes to the Wright Amendment at Love Field.
